Lawsuit against Bernie Ecclestone over F1 sale opens in London court: Civil case underway as criminal case against Grand Prix racing boss still on hold

The first of two major civil actions against Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone -- and others -- over the sale of Formula One to a private equity firm almost eight years ago, has opened in the London High Court.
