The partnership between Ford Racing, Tanner Foust, and COBB Tuning has been churning along for years now and as part of their collaboration, special-edition models are always an expected treat.
Earlier this year, Foust, Ford Racing and COBB Tuning worked on a special-edition Focus, one that we lauded for its unique exterior detail, new carbon-fiber add ons, a new custom grille, fancy race graphics, a wheel and tire program, an a noticeable performance upgrade.
At the 2013 SEMA Auto Show, all three are back to working again, only this time, the choice vehicle is the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST.
Just like the special-edition Focus from earlier this year, the SEMA-bound Fiesta ST that Foust, COBB Tuning, and Ford Racing worked on is a definite treat to the eyes. The digital camouflage wrap already on this military-inspired Fiesta ST jumps out of the picture.
There’s also a new carbon-fiber hood that matches the overall body makeup of the sports hatch. Racing decals are also prevalent, including the vehicle’s apparent tie-up with the Pat Tillman Foundation.
The model also has an upgraded interior and performance modifications that include, among other things, a cold air intake and a sports exhaust system.
More details, like the performance specs, are expected to be unveiled regarding this COBB Tuning/Tanner Foust-tuned Ford Fiesta ST.
